Students are strongly requested to read through the chapters 8 and 9 of Verbeek (2012) in advance of lecture.

Remarks †

In this course, the free statistical environment R is intensively used. Using an integrated development environment (IDE) called RStudio provides you a convenient working environment for data handling and programming.
