Info for Presenters

This page contains information for attendees giving oral and poster presentations.
If you are unsure about the information or have any other queries regarding your presentation,
please do not hesitate to
contact the organisers.

Oral Presentations
Speakers are requested to use their own computers for presentations. If you cannot bring your own computer, please contact the organisers to discuss options for borrowing a computer.

Computers are connected to the projector using a Mini D-sub 15 pin PC cable connector. If necessary, please bring an adaptor to connect your PC to the Mini D-sub 15 pin PC cable connector.

Please bring your computer to the presentation desk during the break before your session to test the connection and check for any presentation issues. Speakers are requested to bring a USB with a copy of their original presentation, and a PDF version of their presentation in case of some unresolvable issues when connecting their computer. A Mac computer with the following settings will be available as backup: OS Lion 10.7 + Keynote '09 (version 5.1) + Powerpoint for Mac 2011 (version 14.1).

Poster Presentations
The poster session will be held in the foyer outside the Freehills Lecture Theatre. Poster boards and pins will be provided. Once the registration period is closed, your poster will be assigned a number and this will be emailed to you on the 3rd of December 2013. Please ensure you hang your poster on the correct number board.

Poster boards are 90cm wide and 150cm tall. We recommend you prepare your posters at standard A0 size (84.1 x 118.9 cm).

Please hang your poster by 13:30 on Tuesday 11 December. Posters should be removed between 16:30-17:30 on Wednesday 12 December 2012.
