Alumni Network

Alumni Network

We have an alumni network group on LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com).

LinkedIn is an online professional network that many people in all industries used as an important networking tool, career advancement and finding new jobs.  This is not like Facebook or general social networking, this is a place where one can present a “professional profile” and follow groups and news relevant to one’s field of research/career.  Recruiters and companies also use LinkedIn to learn about job candidates, and it is also used to find new collaborators and industry connections.

This group was created to help students and graduates connect on a professional level and build an alumni network.  The group also includes faculty staff involved in training international students.  We expect this will help maintain connections as you progress in your career, and also enable you to use the alumni network for new business/research/study opportunities in the future.
