We are looking for new lab members on a steady basis. To be successful in our lab, however, he/she must be an independent, well-balanced and open-minded person. Basic knowledge of population genetics and ecology is also a must.

Participants will work on some of the following study subjects and their interactions: ecology, evolution, and conservation. Note that we are specialized to analyze DNA samples from wild animal populations in order to understand not only their ecology but also their history and interactions with abiotic/biotic environments. The study species are mainly collected in Japan, but not limited to. We are equipped with state-of-the-art molecular lab, and collaborating with many research teams worldwide on multiple research projects such as a wild salmon project and environmental DNA projects.
